Kimel Park Surgical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for our PreOp/PACU team! Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in NC
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is ideal

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the safety and comfort of surgical patients.
  • Works closely with the surgical team to prepare patients for their procedures, monitor their recovery in the PACU, and provide excellent patient care throughout their surgical journey.
