As a Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Nursing Clinical Ladder Program. High acuity Invasive Cardiac and Electrophysiology Procedure pre and post unit (PACU). Preps and recovers invasive cardiac procedures, structural procedures, EP procedures, IR procedures and medical imaging procedures. We are the groin management and sheath experts of the facility. RN will pull sheaths and perform manual holds to the artery. Recovers patients from sedation and general anesthesia. Administers sedation and manages the patients intra-TEE and DCCV. Holds STEMI patients and inpatients if specialized care is needed. Follows and contributes to all Banner Health Strategic Initiatives. Some administrative duties are required in this role. This includes phone management, scanning records, chart prepping, and nursing station duties of the Cardiac Treatment Center. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
