Registered Nurse Pre Op
About The Position
This role involves delivering patient care in accordance with organizational policies and protocols, accurately noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. The nurse will implement and adapt individualized patient care plans while continuously observing, recording, and communicating changes in patient condition. They will act as the primary coordinator across all medical disciplines to deliver well-managed, holistic care throughout the patient's stay. Additionally, the nurse will assess, anticipate, and coordinate patient post-care and discharge needs in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
