About The Position
The Registered Nurse in Pre-op is responsible for preparing patients for surgery and managing their care in the preoperative setting. The nurse will perform assessments, start IV lines, and educate patients about surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Strong IV skills
- Experience in discharge and patient education
- Assessment skills
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience
- Phase 1 experience
- PACU experience
