You'll support patients and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Your role is vital in ensuring high-quality care, effective communication with the healthcare team, and finding solutions to meet patient goals.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- 1-year experience in ED, ICU or Acute Care PACU setting.
- BLS, PALS, ALCS are required within 6 months.
- Weekend, holiday and on call obligation required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
- Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
- Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
