About The Position
The PreAdmit Testing RN initiates the patients plan of care and communicates the needs of the patient based on data collection; performs pre-admission procedures with regard to obtaining physician ordered lab work, EKG's, xrays and medication for surgical patients or other patients requiring out-patient testing.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to collect patient data
- Proficiency in obtaining physician-ordered tests (lab work, EKGs, X-rays)
- Experience with medication management for surgical/out-patient testing patients
Responsibilities
- Initiates the patient's plan of care.
