About The Position

This role involves partnering with clinical leaders and caregivers to enhance patient outcomes and the quality of care. The Registered Nurse Practice Specialist will identify gaps in quality, safety, and professional development, and assist in creating improvement plans. A key responsibility is analyzing quality and patient safety data to inform evidence-based nursing practices. The role also supports Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the updating of order sets, guidelines, and clinical practices. Additionally, the specialist will coach and mentor staff through unit rounding, helping to integrate research and best practices into patient care.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
2 years applicable experience required.

Nice To Haves

5 years preferred.
Registered Nurse Education experience
Masters Degree in Nursing
NICU experience preferred
