About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Postpartum department at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The position is full-time and operates on the night shift. The nurse will be responsible for implementing patient care plans, monitoring patient conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, and collaborating on discharge planning.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

Implement patient care plans and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Observe, document, and communicate the patient's condition accurately.
Serve as the primary coordinator to ensure well-integrated care across all disciplines.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and manage patient discharge needs.
