About The Position
Seeking an experienced Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The Postpartum RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns following delivery, supporting recovery, newborn stabilization, breastfeeding education, and family-centered care. Candidates must have strong postpartum experience and be comfortable working in a combined Labor & Delivery/Postpartum environment.
Requirements
- 2 years of Postpartum RN experience required
- Active Wisconsin RN License required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Advanced NRP required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Labor & Delivery competency required
- Strong maternal-newborn assessment and patient education skills required
- Experience with breastfeeding support and newborn care required
- Traveler must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
