About The Position
St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian is seeking a part-time RN to join our recovery team. The Meridian unit provides ortho, urology, general, OB/GYN, ENT, optics, plastics services (everything but head and vascular). They also have a call team on staff, so call is very minimal for staff positions.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Nursing Degree (BSN or ADN)
- 1+ years' experience in Pre-op, PACU, ED and/or critical care experience required.
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- BLS required
Nice To Haves
- ACLS and PALS highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in the post-operative phase.
- Work varied days each week based on the surgery schedule.
- Participate in call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute response time.
