About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of recent experience in Post Anesthesia care to join our team. This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Candidates must be willing to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Post Anesthesia care.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Willingness to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Post Anesthesia setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care.
- Document patient care activities accurately.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
