About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is responsible for providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures. The RN will monitor patients as they regain consciousness and ensure safe recovery from anesthesia.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of PACU and PreOp experience
- KS RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the patient's condition post-surgery
- Administer medications as ordered
- Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
