About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Acute Inpatient Rehab Bring your passion to Texas Health So we are Better + Together! This role is located at Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231. The Post Acute Inpatient Rehab Department is a rehab unit with 30 patients and offers self-scheduling, opportunities for educational and career growth, a robust Unit Based Council (UBC), and an engaged leadership team.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
1 year of experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
RN – Registered upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training annually within 90 days required
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months required or ATCN – Advanced Trauma Care Nurse within 6 months required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

1 year of Med Surg/Rehab experience strongly preferred
