About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role requires 3 12-hour shifts per week, with the possibility of self-scheduling. Nurses may be required to float to Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU units. The hospital is a Children's Hospital and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 total staff beds. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces, and bike racks are provided.
Requirements
- PICU experience required
- Must be able to work 3 12-hour shifts per week.
- Must be able to float to Pedi Med/Surg and NICU units.
- Must be able to work weekends.
Nice To Haves
- 1st timers are okay.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Float to Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU units as needed.
- Complete self-scheduling for 3 12-hour shifts per week.
- Work with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.
