About The Position
This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in a high acuity cardiac PICU setting. The role involves critical thinking and managing patients with complex cardiac conditions, including those who have undergone open heart surgery or heart transplants.
Requirements
- ASN or BSN degree (BSN preferred).
- WI or Compact RN license.
- AHA BLS certification.
- AHA PALS certification.
- Minimum 12-18 months of experience in a high acuity cardiac PICU.
- Epic experience required.
Nice To Haves
- AHA ACLS preferred.
- Level I Trauma experience highly preferred.
- One previous travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize critical thinking skills in a high acuity cardiac PICU environment.
- Provide care for patients with open heart surgery, heart transplants, and open chests.
