Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification

Nice To Haves

Experience with ultra-sound and micro-introducers for PICC line placement
Experience teaching patients and staff
Experience trouble-shooting and repairing central venous catheters

Responsibilities

Assessment and placement of peripherally inserted central catheters using ultra-sound and micro-introducers for the adult patient population, including both in-patients and outpatients.
Facilitates the achievement of the defined standard of intravenous care for all patients within the facility.
Teaching both patients and staff, trouble-shooting and repairing various types of central venous catheters.
Maintain and generate quarterly reports.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.
