About The Position

Franciscan Health is hiring a registered nurse for its physician practice. The role is described as RN Medicare Wellness and is split equally between Greenwood Parke Family and Madison Avenue Family Medicine. It is full-time, Monday through Friday, and requires travel up to 50%. The nurse consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The position includes maintaining patient records, administering medications and monitoring for reactions or side effects, modifying treatment plans in response to patients’ conditions, preparing patients for and assisting with examinations or treatments, and monitoring and reporting changes in patient symptoms or conditions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing/Patient Care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State Licensing Board.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor them for reactions or side effects.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
