We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. Preferred- 3-5 years of infusion experience and chemo certification. This position will potentially cover our IU North clinic as well. Requirements

• Minimum of one year of RN experience
• Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of infusion experience

Responsibilities

• Critical thinking in a fast-paced environment
• Ambulatory experience
• Infusion experience
• Nursing skills such as Central Line access and maintenance care, PIVs, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood product, and medication administration
• Training on hypersensitivity reaction
• Patient advocacy
• Flexibility and Adaptability
• The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency
• Work directly with oncology trained pharmacists on site infusion area
• Encourage nurse led governance councils
• Multiple coaches available for training
• Potential to move into a leadership position
