About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Pediatric care team within a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to pediatric patients requiring medical, surgical, and post-operative treatment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, acute care expertise, and the ability to provide compassionate care, education, and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families throughout the care continuum.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required
Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical or rehabilitation experience in a large acute care hospital setting required
Recent acute care experience within the past 12 months required

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized pediatric patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Provide direct bedside care for pediatric medical and post-surgical patients
Monitor patient status and promptly communicate any changes or adverse reactions
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per physician orders
Perform IV therapy, catheter care, wound care, and dressing changes
Operate and manage specialized medical equipment as needed
Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry readings
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and records
Follow infection control protocols and evidence-based nursing practices
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and quality care requirements
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with the care team to support discharge planning and continuity of care
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and caregivers throughout hospitalization
