About The Position
This is a 36-hour per week position for a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics. The unit is seeking travelers for contracts of 20+ weeks, with a hard stop date of February 27, 2027, to assist through the holidays. The role involves caring for medical-surgical patients and hematology/oncology patients aged 0-17. The unit utilizes PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems. Self-scheduling is available. Orientation includes 24 hours of unit orientation and a full week of hospital orientation with daily classes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience
- BCLS certification
- PALS certification
- Administer Chemo skills
Nice To Haves
- IV Start skills
- Lab Draw skills
- CHEMO experience and Cert is preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer Chemo
- Float to PICU and NICU
- Work every other weekend
- Attend hospital orientation classes
