About The Position
This is a 1-year contract position for a Pediatric Registered Nurse. First-time travelers are welcome. The position requires on-call duty based on unit census and weekend work, with 5 shifts required in a 6-week period. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-5. While 48-hour work weeks are not approved, block schedules are not required. The facility is a Children's Hospital and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 total staff beds. Free parking is available in any unrestricted space, and bike racks are provided.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to work weekends (5 shifts in a 6-week period).
- Willingness to be on-call based on unit census.
