Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN) required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. (Exceptions may apply for candidates with >2 years of experience, subject to CNO approval).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care, education, and support across every stage of pediatric development.
  • Build lasting patient relationships.
  • Assess patients without face-to-face interaction (may be required).
  • Understand the legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
