Requirements

Minimum of one year of RN experience.
Associates of Nursing (ASN) required.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. (Exceptions may apply for candidates with >2 years of experience, subject to CNO approval).
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care, education, and support across every stage of pediatric development.
Build lasting patient relationships.
Assess patients without face-to-face interaction (may be required).
Understand the legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
