About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Pediatric Heart Transplant Coordinator at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. The department is Pediatric Cardiac Transplant and the schedule is full-time, days. The nurse will serve as a primary resource for nursing staff on patient care standards, policies, and procedures. They will design, document, and oversee comprehensive patient care and therapy programs. Additionally, the role involves directing nursing personnel, ensuring proper care execution, and securing necessary medical equipment. The coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate records to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
