About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Pediatric Cardiac Operating Room (OR) in Nashville, Tennessee. VUMC is a leading institution dedicated to advancing health and wellness through patient care, education, and research. This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team, establish patient goals, and evaluate progress. The position emphasizes professional growth and adherence to Board of Nursing standards. The role operates on a 40-hour per week schedule, rotating between day and night shifts with four 10-hour shifts. Overtime may be required, and there is a weekend and holiday call rotation.

Requirements

RN required
Registered Nurse with Pediatric Critical Care experience may be considered.
LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
Relevant Work Experience
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Nice To Haves

Pediatric Cardiac OR experience as a circulator highly preferred.
