About The Position

Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Pediatric Acute Care/Pediatric Emergency Department in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time, day-shift position. The role involves leading the delivery of personalized bedside care using evidence-based practices to ensure safe, high-quality treatment tailored to patient needs. The nurse will coordinate the multidisciplinary care team, acting as the primary patient advocate and ensuring seamless alignment of specialists and support staff. Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting patient progress in real-time to facilitate informed decision-making and managing the discharge planning process from the start to ensure patients and families are prepared for their transition home.

Requirements

Certified BLS Provider specializing in Health Service Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. OR military CPR-First Aid training.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing at date of hire required.
