About The Position
The Registered Nurse will mainly support ED-HOLD floating and provide care across various units including General Medical/Surgical, ICU, and PCU. The role requires adaptable and resourceful professionals familiar with managing mixed diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 1 year of ICU experience, 1.5 years of PCU experience, or 1 year with strong PCU experience and references.
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS for ICU and PCU; BLS, NIHSS for Med-Surg.
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV med titration, and good communication and patient teaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within scope across various units such as ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg.
- Transport patients throughout the hospital including inpatient units and PACU.
- Assist in the ED Holds Area during overnight shifts.
