About The Position
The PCU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to adults with varied diagnoses such as CHF, pneumonia, COPD, and more. The RN will ensure effective clinical outcomes through thorough assessments, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience in PCU/Tele
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Registered Nurse licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Experience in cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
- Skills in catheter insertion and management
Responsibilities
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- IV starts and blood product administration
- Titration of vasoactive drips
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Professional bedside manner
