About The Position

Abbott is seeking a current Registered Nurse to provide personalized face-to-face training to Acelis Connected Health home-testing customers. Training covers obtaining a finger-stick blood sample, operating PT/INR products, and fulfilling test-reporting responsibilities. The position is per diem and specific to the trainer’s state and city. The trainer arranges appointments remotely with customers or caregivers and travels to customers’ homes within the general area of the trainer’s home. The listed opening is in Fargo, North Dakota, and the role is designated remote. Travel is listed as 100% of the time, with a minimum requirement of 100 miles round trip. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license/status.
• Clinical experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of assigned educational prerequisites.
• Proof of health-screening documentation.
• Successful completion of a consumer report/background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Computer and smart-device proficiency.
• Access to a personal laptop or desktop computer to complete company requirements if needed.
• Access to a printer.
• Proficiency in basic website and application troubleshooting using a smart device.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 100 miles round trip.
• No lifting over 15 pounds is required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Arrange training appointments remotely and directly with customers or caregivers.
• Travel to customers’ homes within the general geographic location of the trainer’s home.
• Demonstrate and instruct customers and/or caregivers on the proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test-reporting options.
• Communicate and present oneself professionally.
• Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain communication with Acelis Connected Health by cell phone, email, and internet access.
• Use secure encrypted email when communicating information that includes customers’ protected health information (PHI).
