About The Position
As a Registered Nurse – Pain Management at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll coordinate all aspects of surgical cases between surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR support staff. You will facilitate smooth patient flow and case turnover in the operating room, manage assigned OR cases, ensuring efficiency and proactive communication around scheduling or procedural changes. You will also maintain accurate documentation and uphold OR safety protocols, demonstrating sound clinical judgment in high-pressure situations while prioritizing patient care and comfort.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia (or eligible to obtain)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Detail-oriented, independent, and team-focused
Nice To Haves
- Experience in critical care, telemetry, or emergency room settings is a plus
