About The Position

To provide quality patient care to paediatric patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS required at time of hire
• Minimum 2-5 years recent Paediatric experience in an acute setting (e.g. Inpatient unit or Emergency Dept.) required
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire
• Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with families
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Good team player.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record.

Nice To Haves

• PEARS and PALS certificate an asset
• Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred
• Breastfeeding certificate required an asset
