About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Endeavor Health in Chicago. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, maintaining professional competency, and contributing to the development of peers and colleagues. The nurse will integrate ethical provisions and evidence-based practice into their work, promote safety, guide and supervise staff, and enhance their own professional growth. Documentation must be thorough and timely. The position also includes other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • IL RN License
  • CPR BLS through American Heart Association
  • ACLS through American Heart Association
  • PALS through American Heart Association within 3 mths of start
  • Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
  • Communicates effectively and if experienced RN, is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
  • Reliable transportation for floating

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience as a staff nurse.

  • Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations.
  • Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
