About The Position

Southwoods Health is seeking a dedicated PACU RN to provide safe, direct, and high-quality post-anesthesia care. In this role, you will implement plans of care, administer medications, monitor patient recovery, and collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Strong critical thinking, time management, delegation, and clinical documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in PACU, Critical Care, or the Emergency Room

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and document safe, effective post-anesthesia patient care.
• Monitor closely for changes in patient conditions and execute ordered clinical interventions.
• Maintain strict patient privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate patient progress effectively to the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Practice cost-effective resource management without compromising patient outcomes.
