About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – PACU for a Travel or Local job in Santa Rosa, CA. The role involves delivering comprehensive care to patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery, monitoring vital signs, managing post-anesthesia complications, and collaborating with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient PACU experience required
• Active California RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Strong critical care and recovery room skills
• Ability to work in high-acuity environments and float as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience with diverse surgical cases preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, and consciousness post-procedure
• Manage pain, nausea, and post-anesthesia complications
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
• Perform cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Provide care for ventilated patients when required
• Assist in pre- and post-procedural care including regional blocks
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Float to affiliated units/facilities as required
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and compliance standards
• Support safe recovery and discharge readiness
