Registered Nurse - PACU
About The Position
This is a 13-week contract assignment for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) with an ASAP start. The role involves 40 guaranteed hours per week, working an 8-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The RN will support patient recovery following surgical procedures in a post-anesthesia care setting. Weekend and holiday responsibilities are managed through an on-call rotation, approximately every 6th-7th weekend. In cases of low census, the nurse may be placed on call, with callback pay and a 2-hour minimum if called back. Orientation week hours are not guaranteed. Candidates must reside outside the 50-mile radius.
Requirements
- Valid Wisconsin RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- At least 2 years of PACU experience
- Proficiency in Epic charting
- Associate Degree or certificate
- Must live outside the 50-mile radius requirement.
