About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient assessment, airway management, pain control, and post-operative recovery while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous PACU and/or ICU experience preferred.
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive post-anesthesia patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor airway status, oxygenation, and pain management needs.
- Maintain emergency readiness and ensure equipment functionality.
- Evaluate patients for discharge readiness and provide detailed handoff reports.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and care teams.
