This PACU unit has availability for nurses who are team players and eager to learn and grow their critical nursing skills. The unit recovers patients from a variety of procedure and surgical areas post-anesthesia. They are open Monday – Friday with some on-call responsibilities on the weekends and weeknights, rotating with all staff.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse
- Experience in PACU
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification

Responsibilities
- Recover patients from a variety of procedure and surgical areas post-anesthesia.
- Provide care for post-surgical patients including General, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Thoracic, GYN, Transplant, IR, GI, and ERCP.
- Manage epidurals, CADD pumps, vent management, art lines, assessment skills, lab draws, PCAs, and pain/nausea management.
- Administer ACLS and PALS.
