About The Position
This role involves providing pre and post-anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) works collaboratively with anesthesia providers and performs care for both outpatient and inpatient surgeries, with an estimated 60-70 cases per day. The position includes a 12-month PACU Residency Program and offers a commitment to growth and development through numerous educational offerings, leadership development, simulation education, and tuition reimbursement.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
- BCLS, and ACLS, required upon hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for adult surgical patients within the last 3 years preferred.
