Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another compact licensure state.
Nice To Haves
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Previous PACU, ICU, ED, or other critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment.
- Manage pain, comfort, and recovery needs while prioritizing patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding recovery expectations and post-operative care.
- Coordinate individualized plans of care to support optimal outcomes.
