About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Recovery. The role involves working day shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM, with on-call responsibilities. Pre-employment requirements include passing a drug screening as this is a drug-free facility. The job requires strong assessment, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding outpatient environment. Excellent patient care assessment and customer service skills are essential.

Requirements

• Current RN License
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a strong customer service focus.
• Strong assessment, organizational and problem-solving skills as evidenced by the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components required.
• Excellent patient care assessment and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work compatibly in a busy and demanding outpatient environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Critical Care, ER, or PACU experience
• ACLS and PALS certification need to be obtained within the 1st year of hire date.
