About The Position
This administrative triage RN role is based at Methodist Medical Plaza North and provides virtual support to a Carmel, IN clinic. Working closely with physicians, the RN will manage telephone triage, medication and supply refills, patient education, injections, prior authorizations, and care coordination. Experience with insurance processes, pharmacy management, and strong communication skills are preferred. The PRN position requires 16 hours per week (two 8-hour shifts on Mondays and Fridays, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm).
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply with >2 years experience, subject to CNO approval)
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
