Northeast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities. This role utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care and consultation for individuals with fecal and urinary diversions, wounds, drains, pressure sores, and incontinence. The position encompasses acute care, rehabilitation, patient teaching, and counseling, caring for patients across all age groups: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. The employee will perform clinical duties in accordance with population-specific guidelines and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures. Additionally, the role assists in advancing the professional practice environment by communicating the NGHS nursing strategic direction and supporting activities aligned with it. This includes providing nursing involvement support for VOICE and nursing quality teams, and coaching team members in their professional participation.
