This RN position supports a large, fast‑paced family practice based at 8820 S. Meridian Street, Suite 120, Indianapolis, IN 46217. Primary responsibilities include managing triage phone calls and electronic messages, along with providing occasional in‑clinic support for both urgent and non‑urgent patient needs. The clinic offers a strong team culture within a busy family practice environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior triage experience preferred
- ER or Med-Surg background is a plus
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
