We are seeking a RN to work onsite Pediatric Cardiology clinic located at 621 Memorial Drive, Suite 612, South Bend, IN 46601. In this role, the RN will support clinical operations through responsibilities such as triaging patient calls, managing medication refills, handling prior authorizations, coordinating surgical clearances, facilitating peer-to-peer reviews, and assisting with direct patient care when needed (including rooming patients, obtaining vitals and medical history, performing EKGs, placing heart monitors, scheduling, and managing phone communications). The clinic offers a supportive team environment with a strong focus on work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
  • Pediatric experience
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
  • Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
