About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Oncology RN to provide high-quality care to oncology patients in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong oncology experience, chemotherapy knowledge, IV skills, and experience working with Epic EMR.
Requirements
- Active California RN License.
- BLS Certification (AHA or ARC).
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of Oncology Nursing experience.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient Oncology experience preferred.
- OCN Certification preferred.
- First-time travelers welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and specialty injections.
- Perform peripheral IV insertions and manage central lines/CVADs.
- Monitor patients for treatment reactions and side effects.
- Document patient care and treatment plans in EPIC.
- Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans and medications.
