Join our growing outpatient cardiology team at IU Health Medical Group – Fishers. This position is based at 13100 E. 136th Street, Suite 3000, Fishers, IN 46037 and offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced cardiology clinic setting. The RN will be responsible for medication prior authorizations, triaging patient messages, prescription refills, and procedure scheduling while collaborating closely with providers and the care team to support optimal patient outcomes. The role is primarily onsite, with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week after successful completion of training.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with >2 years of experience, subject to CNO approval)
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
