About The Position

Registered Nurses will float to various Henry Ford clinics to provide exceptional patient care and clinical support across our health system. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in diverse outpatient clinic settings, adapting quickly to different clinical environments and patient populations. The nurse will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practice standards. Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, physicians, and clinic staff is essential for seamless patient care coordination. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments, patient education, and health promotion activities. Professional and compassionate communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members is expected to support positive health outcomes. Accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Henry Ford Health System standards is required. The role also contributes to a culture of excellence, flexibility, and continuous learning across multiple clinic locations.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Two years of related clinical nursing experience in the area of interest and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
  • Willingness to float to multiple locations.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS
