About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity available at the Riley Outpatient Center in Bloomington, IN! We are a multi-specialty, pediatric outpatient clinic looking for a patient-focused registered nurse to add to our small, dedicated team. Pediatric experience is preferred, and candidates with prior outpatient clinic experience are highly desired. Requires effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships. Must be a friendly, multi-tasker with strong customer service skills. Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30PM. Schedule will be 3-days weekly. No weekends! Requirements

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Friendly, multi-tasker with strong customer service skills
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience is preferred
  • Prior outpatient clinic experience is highly desired
  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Perform duties as a Registered Nurse with awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities.
