Registered Nurse – Outpatient – Allergy

About The Position
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. This hybrid outpatient RN role supports both IU Methodist and IU North clinics, working four 10-hour shifts Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays required. The position primarily focuses on triage nursing while also assisting with in-clinic allergy testing. The RN will rotate between the two clinic locations and play a key role in supporting a new and growing department.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with >2 years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
- Prior triage experience
- Prior outpatient experience
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
- Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
