About The Position

MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Orthopedic units across multiple hours and shifts. At MidState Medical Center, we don’t just take great care of our patients; we take great care of our Orthopedic Registered Nurses too. Our Orthopedic Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Orthopedic Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
• Complete Orthopedic Nurse Residency.
