About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic Inpatient department at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Orthopedic Hospital in Newburgh, IN. The position is part-time, with shifts on days from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and will include some holidays and weekends. The nurse will deliver expert, evidence-based nursing care, advocate for patients by monitoring recovery and adjusting care plans, coordinate with doctors and therapists for collaborative care, execute clinical orders with precision, and lead discharge planning for patients and their families.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
